Competition Rules

These Competition Rules (the “Rules”) apply to all our competitions on https://lootodds.com/contests (the "Competition/Competitions") organized by LootOdds (the “Organizer”).

BY PARTICIPATING IN THE COMPETITIONS, YOU AGREE TO THESE RULES. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE RULES, YOU SHOULD NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITIONS. Participation is automatic upon posting a tip in any qualifying esports event.

1. User Accounts

You need to have an active user account to participate in the Competitions.

  • Only one account per person is allowed to participate in the Competitions.
  • You must have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence to participate in the Competitions.

See our Terms of Service for more details.

2. Duration

Each Competition's start and/or end time are indicated on the Competition's page (the "Competition period").

3. Tips

You can post tips for any of the upcoming matches and events we offer.

  • Once you post a tip, it cannot be changed or deleted.
  • You can post as many tips as your balance allows.
  • You are not allowed to post multiple identical tips (same match and market).

3.1. Balance

To track your success in posting tips we use a virtual point-system. When you create an account your balance is credited with 100 units. Your objective is to earn as many units as possible by posting successful tips. Should your balance reach 0 units, you can no longer post new tips, but you always have the option to reset your balance back to 100 units, provided you have no pending tips. At the beginning of every Competition period your balance gets reset back to 100 units to give you a fresh start and a chance to win the top prizes. However your tips and units earned in past are still visible on your profile for bragging rights.

3.2. Stake

The stake is the amount of units you are willing to risk on your tip. The stake is subtracted from your balance when you post a tip. If you win your tip, you get units added to your balance according to the odds of your tip. If you lose your tip, you lose the stake and no units are added to your balance.

You can choose from the following predefined stake sizes, depending on the odds of your tip:

Stake Risk Odds
1
Low Any Odds
5
Medium Odds < 10
10
High Odds < 5
20
Very High Odds < 5

3.3. Comments

You have the ability to add comments to your tips.

  • The language of the comments must be in English.
  • Comments must be original written content and cannot be copied from other users or external sources.
  • Comments must not contain any personal information or links to other web sites and services.

We reserve the right to remove any comments that we deem inappropriate.

4. Prizes

You can win prizes by participating in the Competition. To claim any prizes we may ask you to provide proof of identity and/or residency.

4.1. Monthly Race

Players are ranked on a leaderboard based on their earned balance. The higher your balance compared to other players, the higher your rank on the leaderboard. At then end of the Competition period you earn cash prizes depending on your final placement on the leaderboard. The leaderboard resets every Competition period.

5. Excluded Countries

Users from the following countries are allowed to participate in the Competition but are not eligible to claim any rewards: Quebec/Canada, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, Sudan, Crimea and Russia. Please note we may at any time and at our sole discretion add or remove countries from this list.

6. Privacy

All your tips are public by default. However, you can choose to make your pending tips private in your preferences settings.

Your privacy and data security are very important to us. By taking part in the Competition, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

7. Breach of Rules

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO WARN, TEMPORARY OR PERMANENTLY BAN, VOID/UNDO TIPS, OR ANY OTHER PENALTY WE SEE FIT FROM ANY PARTICIPANT THAT WE DEEM IS IN BREACH OF THE RULES OR IS TRYING TO CHEAT THE SYSTEM.
